I actually didn’t start as a web designer. My first passion has always been training and showing horses. I grew up in Cave Creek, Arizona, and then moved to Missouri to get a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science. I worked for reining trainers in both Missouri and Oklahoma, then worked for the American Angus Association in St. Joseph, Missouri, as a Web Marketing Coordinator. That’s where I began learning about websites and Internet marketing. I immediately enjoyed it and began learning all I could. I began making websites at first for friends, then found the business growing due to my low prices and fast and friendly manner. Since I’m not your typical "computer geek,” I know how to help people use technology to promote their business while remaining relatable. In 2007, I opened an antique and rustic decor shop in Jamesport, Missouri, with my family (www.cowboyandcabindecor.com is the online store). I am still very active in the NRHA, including scribing the NRHA Futurity and Derby, and also judge many open and 4-H shows locally. In 2009 I moved back to my home town of Cave Creek, Arizona and am working for Milburn Equine, in addition to running our online store and my website business. Although I love the horse industry and enjoy creating websites for horse-industry related clients, I am more than happy to make a website for anyone! Please check out my Portfolio page to view my webstes. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact me! I hope I can work with you in the future! - Jenny Baker |
